It's hard to say that I'm an Atheist in where I'm living. People will look at you in disgust and think that you are immoral, somehow. So I need a place that I can think freely.
The religion you left
Buddhism
Why you left your religion.
Hmmm not really leaving, but more like I only take what they teach about what you should do to other people so that it will improve your behaviour.
I don't like how people misinterpret Buddhism and bend it to give them advantages, as well as some of the teaching is old and not really credible anymore. For example, do good to your parents regardless of whether they are psycopaths that are trying to kill you everytime you sleep. Not that my parents are like that. But I think people don't automatically 'get' respect, you have to earn it.
