Psh, "robotech" you gotta see the real macross, the one with five more sequals than the ones "Harmony" Gold allows stateside (macross plus and macross 2) two examples:
Not to step on any one's toes here, but can we have a different image for the group? Every time I see this thing I feel like I am about to look at kiddy porn or something.
Never seen it. I'm just saying the characters presented in their positions, with their body types making them appear younger, makes me feel like I am clicking a group for kiddy porn.
The Japanese otaku subculture was originally more about sci-fi and giant robots, but at a certain point it got to be about having warm-fuzzy feelings for cute girl characters, a sensation called "moe". It ranges from the relatively innocent to lolicon stuff, but the core of it is fetishizing female characters who are in various ways emotionally non-threatening. There are a lot of popular moe characters who are underage, part-animal, androids, miniature, non-blood-related younger sisters, maids, etc. If a given anime is really strongly sexualizing underage girls--titles like Strike Witches or Kodomo no Jikan--it's most likely because it's aimed at moe otaku.
been watching and reading kodomo no jikan, a manga/anime about three disturbed grade school girls. lots of sexual references. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GSq2AYv59k
XD! COME ON APPLE!! Karin is rated PG13! LOL! Aren't we all high schoolers or adults here anyhow! lol - it's not like I'd show any of the anime pornos or anything.... lol
Matt- A note... you might want to be a LITTLE more specific! A lot of the "kids in school" are in HIGH SCHOOL!! Which is FAR less perverted... don't you think?
