Christianity Forced In Public Schools

Christianity In Public Schools

So follow the link above and you will find what the morons in my county value the most. 1st, I'd like to thank the Freedom From Religion Foundation in Wisconsin for following thru with doing something about this. I don't know how they found out about a backwoods county in South Carolina, but I'm sure glad they did. It is a wonderful thing that some people are able to speak out.

What more can we do about things like this? I'd love to hear stories and ideas! Thanks!

O wow! I just had enough time to go online and check the blog on the link and I see you all have been posting! Thank you so much! Now I have to get to reading your comments on here. I love this site and all that you guys do! You are wonderful :)

BTW, I have 2 step-children in school here (in the county the blog post is about) and they have to say prayers. Just the other day they told me that it came over the intercom to pray for someone affiliated with the school that had cancer. Plus they get in trouble for not saying the pledge, so basically they are forced to say "under god" in it as well. Grrr.

The funny thing is, kids are allowed to pray in public schools of their own valition. They can even bring a bible to school, what these people seek is the power to force kids to fall in line with their ideology. I think the strange part is that they dont even know that theyre seeking power, not freedom.

We're practically neighbors...I'm in Anderson so I know all about the pains of being anywhere near Pickens.  I'm quite surprised at the spelling and grammar from those who posted.  I wish the person who submitted the complaint would go public.  I'd like to see how many atheists would come out and support said person, even if it is social suicide down here.
