A half billion dollars later Al-jezeera is the new owner of Current TV. This should level the playing ground some what here in the US. We now have another news source to counter the corporate propaganda spewed out by the likes of CNN, FOX, NBC, etc.
They are not to be taken lightly. Whether they have a specific agenda remains to be seen.
