Overwhelmed by All the Changes You Want to Make

By Leo Babauta If you had to make a list of all the habits you’d like to change or create, how many changes would be on the list? For many of us, we might have more than a dozen habit changes we’d like to make. And we want to make them all right now! I’ve […]

My 2014 Successes and Failures

By Leo Babauta This has been quite a year for me: I moved to a new city, wrote and launched a book, traveled, got leaner, and failed at a bunch of things. I don’t normally do a review of my year, but looking back on the massive amounts of things I succeeded and failed at, […]

Finding the Motivation to Change Your Entire Life

By Leo Babauta Almost exactly 8 years ago today, I ran my first marathon and soon after I started Zen Habits. I’d changed a dozen or so habits, lost weight, was getting out of debt, quit smoking. And almost 7 years ago, I quit my job. That was a period of intense and profoundly scary […]

Just spoke about Bonsai just last night, I describe how bonsai cultavation completely changed my uncle's life around, he went from a highly intensive "Ill hit ya if ya look at me" knda guy, to a passive quiet spoken person, it was incredible the change it made in his life. it gave him peace anyhow, probably added another ten year's onto his life as well.
