So few of us, both on this forum and in the state in general. I know a goodly number of atheists in my area, but most of them only understand the stupidity of religion, not the toxicity. Because of…Continue

If I may, this page has every WY congressmans website. http://legisweb.state.wy.us/LSOWeb/LegInfo.aspx Click on house or senate. Each congressman page has their email address.

This page shows every bill they are going to discuss this session http://legisweb.state.wy.us/2011/billindex/BillCrossRef.aspx?type=ALL

That is a great idea, wyocowboy. Do you have a link to easily access those particular legislators' e-mails?

I decided to follow your example and email the two congressman from my district, both who voted FOR the proposal last go around. I am encouraged that quite a number of the legislators who voted against it are still representing their districts.

I am worried too. My fingers are crossed as well as the Republicans take the marjority.

Hi Ashley, good to meet you!

I have been following the news on the upcoming legislation...I was glad when the "marriage definition" didn't pass the last go round. I am very worried that with the strong GOP elected leadership we are going to see our equality thrown out the window.

They chant "no big government" but they sure don't mind pressing their opinions in our personal lives. Telling people who they can marry, when the can marry, and when they are allowed to divorce?!

There are fifty Republicans and only ten democrats in the state congress. My fingers are crossed that this won't pass.

Welcome ungodlynews. I work for the newspaper and sickens me reading some of the proposed bills that are being put to the Legislature next week, even if I am sure some won't pass. http://billingsgazette.com/news/state-and-regional/wyoming/article_...   "The issue of whether Wyoming should recognizesame-sex marriages performed elsewhere will be back before theLegislature in the session that starts next week."  If that passed, what would happen to the gay people I know who were married elsewhere and live here currently?  And another crazy point in that article: "Brechtel is also a co-sponsor of a separate bill that would coupleswanting to get married to have to undergo premarital counseling orwait a year for a marriage license. It would likewise requirecouples who want to get divorced to wait a year if they haven't received counseling about that." t That is ridiculous ...

I guess in the case of atheism keep your eyes peeled to the car bumpers, I've seen a flying spaghetti monster bumper magnet and a sticker that said "proud atheist" or something to that effect, don't feel like your alone out there guys.
