So few of us, both on this forum and in the state in general. I know a goodly number of atheists in my area, but most of them only understand the stupidity of religion, not the toxicity. Because of this, none of them are active politically, or in any situation where they can take a stand and make a difference. This needs to change. Encourage people to vote, and to vote smart. Educating yourself on political candidates is easy. That is my soapbox moment. Thank you.
There are few atheists, and like every one else, they are not overly active in public life. I guess that's why the theists are more powerful, there are more of them with the same percentage of active people.
I think you are correct. But that is why we need to speak up. Be active. We are outnumbered (for now) so if we want to see a change, or at least stave off theocracy, we need as many of us as we can to get involved politically.
