So I was looking at peanut butter the other day. The new really healthy stuff in my grocery store looked interesting. So I read the label. Among other things you know what was added? Fish oil. Ugh.

Then the other night I saw a commercial for a cereal that because of added protein would make so you were able to turn down donuts from a cute little girl selling door to do. I thought, hmm, I wonder what they put in that?!?

Then I thought, how does MORE protein which most American's eat too much of help you with sugar cravings? Seriously.

New studies questioning the benefits of fish oil...http://www.pcrm.org/health/medNews/fish-oil-does-not-benefit-heart

Interesting. That's the first time I've seen that slant on fish oil.

I'm also sick of seeing only fish oil being suggested for obtaining Omega 3 fatty acids--Flax oil is the way healthier option! I've been vegetarian/vegan since 2001. It's been driving me crazy for 11 years.

Check out my blog, I often write about atheism and my veg diet:

Totally agree, that's what I use Flax seed oil.

America has this? why do you ever leave your houses?

Seriously though, I think I remember an article a while ago saying that a high protein breakfast helps to stop snack cravings. So bacon and eggs will actually help with losing weight by helping you eat less snacks. Maybe the cereal commercial you saw was talking about that?
