I keep deleting my posts...

I don't want to sound too harsh but I am actually annoyed by your 'cast.

You see I don't know you or why you are trying to start a community. Your first 'cast tells me nothing about you. All I've found out is you have some people on some other forum that followed you here and you were very welcoming to them but I still have no idea who you are.

Content is key. No one cares about excuses they just want a show. If you want to build your audience you have to engage them.

I am not sure what you have envisioned for the format of your show but in response to your request for input may I suggest that the key to success in this will be making "Compelling Content". Making it available as a Podcast on iTunes on a regular schedule would give you the opportunity to build a fanbase who may become habituated to the regularly occurring episodes and fit them into our already maxed out media consumption schedules.

The content has to be like a tasty sandwich with more Meat, and less Bread than this inaugural episode, in other words more "News", and Less money grubbing. Money grubbing is perhaps necessary to keep the world going round however it has to be somewhat buried in "Content" or sparingly sprinkled around it to be palatable because it makes an unappetizing meal all on it's own.

I am not sure what you have envisioned, so consider or disregard these comments as necessary, but I also think you should consider keeping the episodes short and rapid fire at first with a view to expanding as you really get into it. Maybe a Daily News Snippet, and certainly no further out than weekly episodes. I think shorter with more frequency is better than longer and less frequent (there has to be a joke in there somewhere) so that you lessen the risk of overdoing it in length to the point where some might say you went on a bit long.

I'm looking forward to the Compelling Content so bring it on Laura.
