I think Gene was a genius. I'm glad that his show gained support beyond the original three years it aired.

In university I once spent a whole night in a Trek role playing game. I took the Ferengi role since it meant I could watch what everyone else was doing and sell what I knew to the highest bidder. Good fun. Too bad we never tried doing that again.
