We just had a great bbq this past weekend, and we typically have a standing casual meeting on sunday mornings 11-1 at the Brew and Ewe for coffee and discussion. It was a breath of fresh air for someone new to such a religious part of the country like myself.

Comment by Mike Rosier on March 24, 2011 at 6:01pm Ok SC peepz, I'm trying to find some volunteers for the adopt-a-highway program. Scarlette Blues and I have looked into it, it seems easy enough to do, and you only have to participate in 4 cleanups per year. Not only does it help keep our state lovely, but it shows that atheists do great things for the community. Best of all, SCDOT has to put up a sign that says:
"This highway was adopted by: Atheists"
And if any of you can think of other ideas that can help promote atheism, please share!
