Now, this can be upsetting for a lot of different reasons but I have to wonder what is more upsetting - that there are people who will comment so passionately and venomously about topics for which they have clearly done no research or the paper printing this letter which contains false accusations, proving they themselves have little regard for the integrity of the content of their paper.  Or, should letters to the editor be printed regardless if what they claim is true or not in order to give people an idea of what others in their community actually believe?
