BANG! The Musical celebrates science; telling the history of the universe with humor, music, and dance.

There are three shows this weekend: Fri@7pm, Sat@2pm, Sat@7pm. Tickets are $18 at the door, but there are discounts for seniors, students, and online pre-orders. Kids under 6 are FREE.

The 3rd Annual Portland Humanist Film Festival is here. Friday thru Sunday Oct 26-28th. 17 independent films. 4 box office films. Q&A meet directors of 2 films.

Atheists in Portland... Yep. Lots. Here's the ones I help run. We have about ~250 people right now in CFI-Portland:
¤Secular Humanists of East Portland (CFI East Portland = movies)
¤Beaverton Atheists (CFI West Portland = monthly social)
¤Center For Inquiry Portland (discussion groups, book group, speaker events like Richard Dawkins, critical thinking course, local activism, potlucks, movies, debates with christians, 2-day secular film festival, campouts, and we're adding more all the time)
¤Secular Parenting Meetup (CFI for parents/kids)

There is another one that meets twice a month on Wednesday. It's called Secular Humanists of East Portland. You should be able to find the details on meetup.com.
