I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that this guy is a closet gay himself. Aren't they typically the worst homophobics??

Please email the office of the attorney general @

miag@michigan.gov and ask for this asshole's immediate removal from office.

Haha well if I can find him I'll be sure to do that. Last year I was in 337 in Junkyard. My RA is becoming the new RA of South Park so me and some of my friends are moving down there. I don't remember what room I'm staying in next year, it possibly might be 223. Either way I'll keep up the good name of South Park lol

Kyle- Well if you can believe it, I stayed in room 223 in "South Park" hall for 2-3 years before moving off campus with my girlfriend at the time. A lot of memories in that room...Our hall did some crazy things those years, I have some pictures on facebook where we filled a guys room full of styro-foam cups of water, a middle of the day pillow fight flash mob, and a zombie attack in Fisher hall outside the main lecture rooms. Anyways, I hope your years at tech will be even more fun! Oh and if you ever see Jake Emerick, I think he is an admin now, punch him straight in the solar plexis, laugh hysterically as he falls to the ground gasping for air, and tell him it was from Jake Andrews. I will do nearly anything if you could manage to pull that off!!!

I think Manistee had just over 6000, but like your town it's very conservative. Countless times I would have classmates asking me to go to youth group and me standing there scratching my head making excuses why I couldn't go.
Houghton is great. I spent a lot of time at Mt. Ripley last year. I will be staying my second year in DHH too. I like the whole Harry Potter feel of that old building haha Well it's good to know that there's some like minded people up at Tech.

I know how you feel Kyle! I only knew one other Atheist in the town I grew up in. Of course the town was only 900 people, but still....very conservative area :-\

Hey Kyle! How is Houghton treating you? I remember living in Douglass Houghton Hall for a couple of years until '08 i graduated. Well I think there are some pastafarians who meet up once a week in the Humanities building (and yes there is a pool there too). So welcome to Think Atheist!

Yeah, nothing really that exciting about Saginaw to be honest. I'm spoiled though; I grew up in northern michigan which is a lot easier on the eyes. However, I wouldn't trade the convenience of a more populated area for beauty. That's what heading up north once a month to visit the fam is for :-p
