but, who knew there were so many songs with the word "Nurse" in the title??
Most of these songs were chosen by TITLE, and lyrics may not have much to do with medicos, and the song itself might bite, LOLS!! Honestly, i haven't even listened to all of them yet, and will probably delete many when i do hear them!! =P
But some of these are downright funny!

I work in hospice and am interested in meeting others who are non-theists who focus on end of life care. I am studying social work and plan to continue working with hospice in the future. My big issue is with regard to the psychological and spiritual component of patient and family support. There is so little support with regard to helping patients who are non-theistic. It is as if you have to be barraged with christocentric tales of the sweet hereafter or you're left in a vacuum. I have found wonderful support for my own path with zen focused hospice care. If anyone has anything interesting to share, I would love to hear about it.

I think I am having a reaction from the 3 day dose Zpack I started last Monday. I finished the antibiotic on Wednesday and on Saturday, I woke up with hives on my chest and and tense feeling in my throat with some redness. By Sunday, I was covered in hives on my back, chest, shoulders and stomach. Started taking benadryl and there is some improvement today. I still feel so wiped out. Anyone ever have a reaction to Azithromycin? Last time I took an antibiotic (penicillin) was 6 months ago and I had a reaction to that.

Ok. With that out of the way:
Acute pain that follows the right phrenic nerve path. We are talking about some SERIOUS pain. And it goes on. For days at a time with no relief. OTC pain killers and muscle relaxants don't touch it. Doesn't even take the edge off. Smoking weed helps, but it has to be an awful lot. If I put pressure at the curve of my neck and shoulder, I can feel my back muscles twitch between the scapula and posterior ribs and the pain receeds. No arm/hand pain. History of shoulder dislocation, clavicle fracture, C3 fracture. No history of lung (trust me, I'm a diver) or gallbladder damage. Liver and kidneys recently tested and came up clear. Family history of cervical cancer. Personal history of over-active cells and abnormal paps. Currently using an IUD (Mirana) hormonal insert.
No stomach issues or upsets. No fever, chills or vertigo. Possible jaw pain, but it might also be from deviated septum/allergies issues, too.
I can't afford to go to the doctor.
Someone figure this shit out and tell me how to make it stop hurting.

I'm certainly not a medical professional (I'm a Linguistics major as an undergraduate at Boston University right now but what I really want is a job bin the Television industry lol!!) but I am very interested in the subject so thanks for inviting me to join the group. :D
