WELCOME!! PLEASE FEEL FREE to post new topics and share your experiences as a medically employed atheist, (or a patient or a visitor/family member!--ALL are welcome here)
Let's discuss everything from serious topics and issues, to how our work life is impacted by religion around us, to 'war stories'.

This here chat box might not ever get much use, BUT i wanted to show off i did learn how to do this from Bryan Paul!!!

Get your own Chat Box! Go Large! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HERE IS JUKEBOX FOR MEDICOS. Still tweaking it, adding and deleting, still taking requests on the "REQUESTS" thread of this group. Some of the songs requested weren't available on Playlist...and some will disappear, the way Playlist songs always do...
but, who knew there were so many songs with the word "Nurse" in the title??
Most of these songs were chosen by TITLE, and lyrics may not have much to do with medicos, and the song itself might bite, LOLS!! Honestly, i haven't even listened to all of them yet, and will probably delete many when i do hear them!! =P
But some of these are downright funny!
Actually Jean he was my stepfather. My mother's third (and longest) husband. His two favorite things to listen to was Bob Marley and Billy Joel. But because he got exercise and a proper diet the doctors said he lasted as long as he did with Alzheimer's. He also managed to walk my little sister down the aisle last year too. Wasn't a dry eye in the house. Including mine. (and I don't do that) It was a couple of months later he went to hospice.
I love NoSacredCow's last message and particularly the last sentence. Brilliant! The dad of one of my friends told her.. "I've been shown the red card!"
