How does everyone feel about the idea of 'minors' living in our hypothetical commune?

I for one see this as something of a social experiment. 

Because it would be considered an alternate lifestyle, I think that informed consent should have to be given.

Of course, I'm not a parent so I dunno.

I won't lie.

I'm not a huge lover of children. That might be a part of it.

The other part is an idea that children are a financial burden and I'd like contributing members. The more the merrier.

But again.. I don't have kids.

So let's discuss it here.

Why or why not? What do you think?
