Hi I am in the East Pasadena area and have a local meetup. http://www.meetup.com/Backyard-Skeptics-Arcadia/
We also have an Orange and So. Orange County groups as well.

Laura I was at CFI west on Sun to see Shelley Segal, the place is great! Nice having a atheist club house sorta near me, I wish it was closer though.

Center for Inquiry (CFI) hosts many interesting speakers and have various groups that meet on a regular basis. Here's their website.

which events are those? i go to local events occasionally. i recently saw Sean Carroll talk at CalTech and i went to the Hitchens/Harris/Wolpe/Artson debate. i keep my eyes open for interesting stuff so if you have a link to the CFI's events i'd be interested to check it out.

yeah, for sure. i'm not sure that many people have gone through the groups enough to find that their city or region is represented among the groups.
