Too Much Information? – Labeling Restaurant Menus
Information can be a source of learning; but, when there is too much information, or it is not available in a form that can be easily understood and analyzed by the person for whom it is intended, information can be a burden. Or, too much information can simply be ignored in an over-stimulated society. Such seems to be the case when it comes to labeling restaurant menus with nutrition information.

There is one issue that picture. Not sure how it is in the rest of the world, but in Canada, "free range" has no daily number of hours of free ranging. It is indeed a label found on eggs, but it is an empty standard. According to my butcher, who's brother raises and sells "free range" eggs in Alberta, their free range time is the walk from the cage to the slaughter house.

@ Neal: Yes it does. Either that conflicts with what I've read, or my memory is in error. To be honest, either one of those are strong possibilities.

@ Adriana: I'm the same way with supplements. I have some O3 fish oil capsules, but I seldom take them. Plus, they make me belch, and then I get a taste of fish oil. Not too pleasant.

I used to use EVOO all the time, but it is pretty high in Omega 6 fatty acids, I believe. And I keep reading we get too many O-6 and too little O-3.

Has anyone ever cooked with flaxseed oil? If so, did you like it and does it alter the taste of your food?
