Hey, lads and ladies
Welcome on board, which distro do you use?
@Amr, i'm sorry but KDE disagrees
Hello everyone... my first day on thinkatheist and first thing I do is to go ahead look for Linux groups!
Anyways, I don't care who says what, but XFCE prevails! :-D
Damn, I just now found this group.
I am running Linux 10.04 LTS and thank the Binary 0 and 1 god for it. It is rock solid and so superior to the DOS environment. I haven't been to Ubuntu Forums in awhile and didn't know about 11 being out yet.
Linux is to personal computers like ferrari is to sports cars -IMHO.
Interesting - so this time Ubuntu skipped all the release candidates. Quite a bold move I think.
Ubuntu 11.10 came out!!!
I lost my 3d support going from beta to release, which sucks. So now I run unity 2d.
But other than that, I am really liking unity. Although it doesn't allow as much customization (right now), it is very convenient.
I tried the new interface. Unity. Wow.
Not sure why there is so much Unity hate... its awesome.
