That must be incredibly difficult to deal with when people bring religion into a challenge that you are already working so hard on.

I have found something that kinda helps. I have been reaching out trying to unite all the women of atheism i can find. So that they may be able to freely go from one site to another and find each other easily. Agnostic/Atheist Women

There are enough of us out there just not united

God doesn't exist. God has nothing to do with biology. We are masses of cells and things can go awry. It's nobody's "plan," and that also doesn't make it anyone's fault-- not even yours. Living things are not perfect and we are all different. Maybe not a one of us (atheist women, I mean) has dealt with infertility, or maybe some of us have. I'd like to think that even if we can't exactly know what you are going through, that we would support you as best we can all the same.

There should be atheist support groups of all types, don't you think? Imagine the hell of an atheist trying to get sober from an addiction and their only option is a traditional 12-step program. I think sometimes that theists particularly enjoy preying on the weak for conversions. "Suzie joined the church and got clean. Isn't it amazing what happens when you put your faith in Jesus?" How about teaching people to put their faith in themselves? Imagine how empowering sobriety would be then!

I'm sorry for the rambling, but I just really agree with you. Perhaps you could start a group here on Think Atheist. Who knows what could happen?
