You mean not everyone in GA is a First Baptist Christian?!  This is amazing news!  :D  I'm not the only non-believer in Georgia...that is a mouthful.

We have a very local (to you) meetup going, actually, and our next meetup is the 11th of December. You can find us on FB or at meetup.com. We're the Macon Atheists and Secular Humanists! You should come hang out with us. We're always getting together, even outside of the official meetups!

Hopefully, after the holidays have run their course, we can get some local meet-ups going. Let me know if anyone is interested. It would be nice to be able to hang out with people who, um... think every once in a while!

you guys should attend Dragon*con this coming year. We have a skeptics meeting and a breakfast everyday. Michael Shermer, James Randi, and Phil Plait come either together or apart every year. its great.

by the way I live in warner Robins and seems to be that I will be attending the next Cocktail hour ( if I can find a sitter), if anyone feels like drinking tea, coffee, water, vodka or whatever before that day please let me know

I was about to die of boredom when I decided to talk to one of my neighbors then (anathema) politics and religion came up, huge mistake! I just want to kill myself ( not lit..) I just hate to live amoung these ignoramuses, they don't even know they own bible/ religion! I must meet people, pleaseeeee. Let me know when and how.

I wanted to let those of you who are in the Middle Ga area know that there's a fantastic meetup group for atheists that's started, and we just had our first meetup this past weekend. It was a blast, and there's all types of us godless heathens there! So, if you wanna check it out, just go to meetup.com and search for "atheist" and use "perry" as the city, and it'll pull us right up! Maybe we'll see some of you there!
