I will discuss the phrase you're obsessed with having me discuss once you admit that "FINALLY! An anti-Islamic protest!" is 180 degrees off the truth.

As for having no evidence, apparently you haven't heard the reports on Public Radio.

Perhaps we are using different definitions of "Islamist." For me, it's a synonym for "Muslim."

No, we're using exactly the same definitions - what you're failing to see is that Muslims are protesting against Muslim extremists, or as I've been saying, and you've been failing to comprehend, Islamists are protesting against Islamic extremists. Short of a drill and a funnel, I can't think of any other way to get it into your head.

First things first, "FINALLY! An anti-Islamic protest!" is false. It is not a protest against Muslims (per se).

It's a protest BY Muslims AGAINST more extreme Muslims - per, freakin,' se - what part of that are you too obtuse to see?

I just posted this on another TA forum, but let me repeat it here, since you guys live in these countries and have much more first-hand knowledge than I:

Here's the reason, I suspect, that many Muslims blame the US for production and release of that film:

When you've lived your life in a country where the government controls the media, you tend to assume that that's the way it is everywhere. WE Americans know that if the US tried to shut down YouTube across the country, there would be an unimaginable 1st amendment uproar, which the government would lose, but that kind of freedom is unknown in most Islamic countries.
