Here is a very nice article written by Abdel Rahman Youssef in Al-Akhbar newspaper about atheists in Egypt (The Lebanese Akhbar and not the Egyptian one of course)
it discusses the disappearance of the cemetery of Atheist or "the graveyard of the unbelievers" which was there till the 60's of this past century and was dedicated to Bahais, Jehovah's Witnesses, and followers of unrecognized religions – foreigners living in Egypt, and some agnostics and atheists.
i liked it because they used the right term of atheists when translated to arabic and because the journalist interviewed Egyptian atheist in person and didn't just copy and paste their comments from forums or facebook pages.
their ideas about death and funerals are pretty interesting.. i really love it
here is a link to the article http://www.al-akhbar.com/node/166440
and that's very good English translated summary of the article http://english.al-akhbar.com/content/egypts-non-believers-do-not-exist
