I might be interested. I'll check it out.

There are several Colorado atheists who are involved with the new Colorado chapter of the Secular Coalition for America. The first conference call was held on Tuesday 5 June. Message me if you would like to participate in the Secular Association of Colorado.

Hi All!

Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. Nice to see there are a few people here in Denver that have found Think Atheist. Who knows maybe someday we'll have enough ooomph or a fun enough reason to meet up (again?).  In the mean time, if anyone is interested in camping, 4wheeling (Jeeping), beginner mountain biking, Swing dancing, photography, or an inkling to share something you love then feel free to drop me a line anytime.  I work part time right now so time is on my side :)

yeah, i usually leave the "being offended" thing to religious people.

Those things are totally unsightly though - blocking my view of the pretty mountains.

If it's private, I have no problem with it. I think people are stupid for believing in God, but I wouldn't want to tell them they can't waste their money doing something like that.

My guess is private. It is lit up and can be seen for a few miles at night. It's on the side of the mtn next to Mt. Falcon. You can see it from Alameda next to Green Mtn in Lakewood. The only legal action would probably be light polution but I don't think Colorado has much/any light pollution laws.

Don't think I've seen it. Is it on federal land?

Who wants to take down the huge cross on/near Mt. Falcon?
