Why is that Her Majesty's govt. so complacent to Wahhabi clerics?
This cleric makes me laugh actually but, don't ever underestimate him because he has too much fans!
The 'Skull-Smashing' Saudi Cleric Allowed Into Britain
Robert Spencer writes in Front Page Magazine:
... it is a good thing Home Secretary Theresa May is keeping all this Islamophobia and hatred out of Britain. Britons will not be subjected to hateful misrepresentations of Islam like this spectacularly noxious bit of Islamophobia:
Devotion to jihad for the sake of Allah, and the desire to shed blood, to smash skulls, and to sever limbs for the sake of Allah and in defense of His religion, is, undoubtedly, an honor for the believer. Allah said that if a man fights the infidels, the infidels will be unable to prepare to fight.
You may be wondering if it was I or Pamela Geller who penned that hate-filled misrepresentation of the beautiful Islamic doctrine of jihad. But in fact, it was neither one of us. It was Mohammed al-Arefe (pictured above), a Saudi Muslim cleric who believes that shedding Infidel blood and smashing Infidel skulls is pleasing to his god.
Apparently believing that such violence is an Islamic imperative is just fine with the British Home Office as long as one does so approvingly: Mohammed al-Arefe was just last week admitted into Britain without any difficulty. If one believes that such violence is an Islamic imperative but opposes it, however, watch out: that is not conducive to the public good.
Here are some of his tweets saying thank you to Britain.. or "saying thank you to crusaders!"
Perhaps I'm naïve, but I'm very pleased he has such a favorable impression of the UK's treatment of Muslims.
He should have said: "Thank you to secularism! " It's secularism that allowed him to preach there in London..
But we're proud of our tolerance. I think we don't really mind too much what people do. Hence...
Al salaam a'alaykum Amal,
The Wahhabi movement has become synonymous with Islamic fundamentalism in Saudi. They believe in the literal interpretation of the Sunna, fatwa proclamations and the roles of the sexes. The Saudi leadership actively encourages this and controls the moral code of the people, enforcing how they behave and dress. It extends its influence into all aspects of life. Wahhabism also has gained a foothold in other parts of the Middle East, like Qatar and Oman.
The calls for Jihad or the respect given to the “ideals” of conquering the infidel are not seen as extremism. These vile acts are part of their core belief system just as much as daily prayer is. That is why they should not be tolerated.
Here is an article by Sam Harris that is worth a read.
