The other day I was contemplating the steriotypes that surround Athiest and Christians and how they are not always accurate. One issue in particular that I was contemplating was family dinner time. …Continue

Shock value gets a lot of attention but often it's fuel for those against us. Perhaps something simple. A man or woman looking in deep thought. I think black and white would look classy with a quote…Continue

If we had a billboard aimed at kids. Not really young kids, of course.I mean. They have to be old enough to read. But what if we listed some statistics about 'No Religion' that shine us in a…Continue

Okay okay, I'll admit this is probably not one of my best ideas but this one just strikes me.. It's a picture of some religious symbols saying "No science. Just fiction." The other one says "not…Continue

Comment by Chris Loren on December 17, 2012 at 1:47am love the site...
Comment by Kelly Paige Watson on October 27, 2012 at 5:41am I think it would be cool to have short, personal profiles of individuals that bullet point things like philanthropic work and family values, with the last bullet reading in bold print, "Atheist," then a tag line underneath that says something like, "Not what you think. Think Atheist." Maybe too much for a billboard, but it could be great for a more extensive online advertising campaign.

Think logic, think reason, think truth.

The poster could show masses of international people hugging each other, (even muslims), or everyone holding hands around the globe, (picture of the earth), and atheists could pay a small amount to have their own names printed onto the poster in small print, as if it were a kind of petition against religion. This could amount to a lot of money if every atheist here (and their friends), agreed to donate.
Comment by Andrew on May 11, 2012 at 3:46pm these are all cool ideas, but I don't think most of them fit the billboard medium. This is advertising, not an online infographic.
The audience will have maybe 2 seconds to glance at the image, and the point has to be made quickly. We should use strong subconscious cues and MINIMAL WORDS.
My idea: a happy young couple holding each other in front of some nice scenery, with the words "Think Atheist" in the lower righthand corner. And ".com" slightly below that, as an afterthought, to indicate that it's a website.
This will associate the word "atheist" with pleasant images, which is a desperately needed P.R. move.

Comment by Morgan Matthew on April 20, 2012 at 4:14pm We are looking at ways to run another donation drive for the billboard. I'll personally keep the site in the loop around it.
