Hi, I don't have autism. I do however have three kids that do. Two are high function one is not. My fiancee is also autistic. So while I don't have it. I'm living with it every day. I see how truly beautiful it can be. I also see how difficult it can be.

I'm not autistic, but I do have ASD (autism spectrum disorder), which means I portray autistic traits. Basically, what the doctors are telling me is that I'm just a really strange guy. I prefer the label 'quirky,' but whatever... BELIEVE IN JEEBUS, Y'ALL!!!!

Yeah... I have "aspergers" officially, but my psychiatrist is playing with the idea that I may have PDD [pervasive Developmental Disorder] instead... whatever... I think... who CARES about putting a label on my forehead... I'm on the high functioning end of the spectrum. For me that means, END OF STORY! Right?

I often have thought that if this hypothesis is correct and religion is an accidental byproduct of social cognition. autistics would have a higher probability of becoming atheist

my current diagnosis is Aspergers, but I was originally diagnosed with PDD-NOS (which is also on the spectrum).
