Have sent an email to the lovely Fred Nile - Democratic Christian Party - who is pushing to stop Ethics class in secular schools. His complaint is that the ethics class is the same time as the religious class, and wants that stopped - the point of having ethics class, was the kids who didn't want to, for whatever reason, were sitting under a tree etc.

So I sent this:

Please, please, Fred Nile, let me teach The Bible, I will read them the bible, word for word - please please let me.

 

Genesis

If you make God angry enough, he will kill you and your family with his own sword. 22:24

 

But God wasn't satisfied with the slaughter of the 3000, so he killed some more people with a plague. 32:35

 

God decides to kill Moses because his son had not yet been circumcised. 4:24-26

 

For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth." Who else but the biblical god could be so cruel? 9:14

 

If an ox gores someone due to the negligence of its owner, then "the ox shall be stoned, and his owner shall be put to death.". 21:29

 

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." Thousands of innocent women have suffered excruciating deaths because of this verse. And I shall tell the children, about the Spanish, the German Inquisitions, and the torture, in detail, what these women went through. 22:18

 

Deuteronomy

At God's instructions, the Israelites "utterly destroyed the men, women, and the little ones" leaving "none to remain." 2:33-36

 

Ah, yes, Fred Nile, I know my Bible, and will be very diligent in teaching the childen, as these are just a miniscule of evidence. I would be the perfect teacher - please, please let me teach The Bible.

G'day fellow Australians. I live in downtown Sydney. Interesting times. The Carbon Tax has just been introduced, as yet to be passed. What are other Australians views on this.
