I too, love it when religions turn on other religions. I can remember clearly asking my mother when I was younger why other churches believed in 'god, but it wasn't looked at as correct by our church. She replied and said 'they have false idols that they claim to be gods'...... Never understood that, but at the time didn't give it much thought. It's definitely a comical read. Thanks for posting it up.

I just go look on my dead-tree bookshelf for crazy, but I guess not everybody gets the head start of being raised by a cult leader. (buy my book when it comes out, ya'll) She wrote an end-times bestseller in which the pope was the anti-christ. Sad to say, this doesn't even seem "weird" to me, lol. I *expected* the pope to be evil (b/c Catholics weren't "saved" b/c they weren't "born again") So, ya know, Benedict XVI kinda fits my popely expectations.

Tony Alamo is a crazy sicko & I'm glad he got convicted.

I hear ya, sister. I was raised plain old Baptist myself. And like DeVore, my mother gave me the same kind of answers when I would ask about why people who all believed in the same god couldn't come to an agreement about the basics. But it still amuses me to no end when one "Christian" religion attacks another as being Satanic. Man, like these people don't have enough persecution issues just dealing with the secular world.

As Bill Hicks used to say, "I know it's irony on a real basic level, but it's still a hoot."
