I graduated from a hardcore Church of Christ college in the spring. A lot of the folks were great, but there were some weird rules. If you were gay, you got expelled. Alcohol? Expelled. Sex? Expelled. I think that about half the students were Christians, and the other half were sent there to become Christians.

Well, I'm glad there are more than just two. I'm stuck in an Episcopal school, so I don't really know other Atheists. Be great if we could get more high school students like myself on this. If we get enough people, we might be able to have Carrier speak after all.

I would LOVE to go to the Reason Rally.  But with a job and baby, there's no time or money.  I was hoping to get Richard Carrier to speak in Jonesboro, but nobody here wants an Atheist to speak.  I thought the philosophy or history dept. would be interested, but nope, and there's only 13 people here that will even admit being Atheist.

I was looking for Northeast Arkansas Atheists, but I found this group.  Hopefully more will join!
