i would like to discuss it..

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day".

I guess this is pretty much saying that Jesus will bless you and bring you up to heaven at the end of the world, or..the person's death, if you are one of his father's (gods) chosen people. um..which happens to be the Jewish people.

am I close to you're interpretation?

Ridiculous, absurd, or ignorant verses!? How about verses of transcendent beauty, trumpet solos of joy, deep wells of security and peace and comfort? If only it was all about ridiculing the Bible! — but we can’t deny that our human need for transcendence is real, and what I found in the Bible often filled that need. Point out to me, please, an atheist or scientific work that might do as well . . .
