This is some of my sm'ART...smoke + Art = sm'ART

The first piece from the previous post is called "Aquarium I",

The piece on the bottom is called "Just Blocks Away"

I have over 700 pieces- mainly black and white- maybe 30 in color

The masks I bought blank in Venice, Italy. I bought 65 all together. Most of the masks don't really have tittles yet-many different shapes. I have many more on my Facebook site

I am located in northwest Indiana, and i attend Indiana University. i understand that people are really, aggressive and demeaning towards atheists, however i am not really bothered by that. my purpose with this group is just to set up a group of like minded people, who want to focus on humanity, and the human condition in various artistic endeavors.

i have no real intention of going up to people, and saying "Hey man, god doesnt exsist, buy my art". it would be hypocritical to do so. i am really interested in doing this for the simple pleasure of finding people who are as intelligent and dedicated to the arts as i am.

if they vandalize my fliers, or hassel my group, it just serves to illustrate their lack of reason, intellect, and tolerance. people who are interested will find the group regardless, assuming there are in fact free thinkers here in the midwest, who also posseses aesthetic sensibilities. i have known a few others, so they have to be out there.

i searched the website to see if there were any people in my area, there are like people in Indiana, and not one of them lives anywhere near the Region. so for right now anyway, this is just a good place to sort my ideas about things out.

When I was a kid I loved art and always took every art class I could and would draw whenever I could. Even served on the yearbook team. I'm a graphic designer now. My favorite projects are probably logos and car wraps, but here is a link to my online gallery:

Where are you located, Adam? We're organizing our first meet-up in DC so we'll let you know how that goes.

One thing you can do is join the group dedicated to your city here on T|A, then see how many people are interested. Then you can do an advanced search for people in your area.

Also, go to and join any of the atheist groups in your area. I think it's pretty difficult to post atheist fliers around campus without them being vandalized, but it's worth a try. You could also talk to your college about starting a group dedicated to atheists (there are MANY religious ones).

Hope this helps a tiny bit! :)

I enjoy painting in oils, acrylics, and watercolor. I really love airbrush and the soft effects it can produce. I have made a lot of my living do commissioned pieces, mostly sculptures and functional art in homes. I like to incorporate artist design into my engineering projects as well. I have never been a gallery artist; I don’t have any objections to galleries or gallery artists. I just never seemed to achieve a distinctive style of art that galleries look for, so I replicate whatever style the customer wants. I hope that in the future that I can just paint for my own enjoyment and to produce art that provokes thinking.
