Your favorite atheist/"agnostic"/freethinking thinker, writer or orator?

For me, Robert G. Ingersoll takes the cake. His command of language and reason were impeccable, and his writings and recorded speeches never fail to inspire.

George H. Smith's "Atheism: The Case Against God" also agreed so well with my mind, that I'm reading it yet again for the sheer enjoyment of his crystal-clear logic and readability.

Who are some of yours?

LOL. No, sorry. I meant Richard Haynes. Most people know him as Brother Richard. It's a joke name that stuck because he is an ex-preacher.

Frank Zappa. His observations were usually right on target.

Thomas Paine, his "Age of Reason" opened my eyes as to how much bullshit religion really is.

I hate to be on the bandwagon, but Christopher Hitchens is probably my favorite atheist author. He is largely a part of why I am now atheist.
