My name's Stu, I'm from Alaska and I grew up Lutheran, but I make a bigger deal out of being a former Buddhist. I'm a professional musician and an amateur linguist, and I'm interested in mathematics, theoretical physics, the natural sciences, particularly astronomy and geology, and a helping of politics. About this time last year I got convinced by Christopher Hitchens and have been a materialist, antitheist humanist ever since. He and Douglas Murray also turned me around on the war in Iraq, and I've recently developed a stance generally preferential of conservatism. I'd like very much to move to Denmark.
