I prefer to be optimistic about sex- as in, I am not positive I will get some-

Sex is better than masturbation- but not as "handy".

Since we are all fleshbots programmed at random by our language and society and driven by our instincts, it seems to me that all we can do is enjoy what this reality brings without harming others.
