When the religious get their hands on the education system
What are your thoughts on private schools? Should they be allowed to set whatever policies they want no matter how discriminatory?

I don't know which is more angering. The school's policies or the idiots commenting on the story. That school's name is ALL wrong.

Okay. So what about the censorship issue? That's actually the thing that bites me the most, that they would actually ban a possibly important piece of film-making simply because it's about a gay character.

See here's the thing that scares me. It's one thing to form a private "whatever" and call discriminatory policies a "right". But it's another thing if this was done on a big enough scale that the disenfranchised have no where to turn to. A "worst case scenario" if you will. Tyranny of the majority is just as bad as tyranny of the minority.
