I have many pet peeves but these are my biggest two that get under my skin really badly:

1) When people punctuate "Guess what" with a question mark. That is not correct and it drives me nuts. It is an imperative, therefore you would punctuate it with a period or an exclamation point.

2) When people use phrases like "Kelly and I" incorrectly. They label photos with "David and I" when it is actually supposed to be "David and Me". I see it used incorrectly on Facebook almost every time I log in. Is it because the people that I know (I mostly have only R.L. friends on FB) received poor education here in SC or is it just ignorance?

No matter what your pet peeve is, please share. It doesn't have to be about words or grammar... it can be anything! And please tell us why it gets to you.

The way I always remembered the "its" or "it's" thing is that you don't use an apostrophe when you use the possesives "hers" or "his" so you wouldn't use it when "its" is possesive. I hope that makes sense because it is kinda hard to put it into words.

"It's" is "it is" and "its" is possessive. Seems backwards, but just remember that "it is" will always be spelled with an apostrophe :)
That depends on if you are using IT as a pronoun, nominative, or possessive.
I have never accepted the phrase : " GOOD " Friday, at best, I think it should be called  :"Not so hot Friday".  Anyone else share this concept ?

How about "Jesus got nailed" Friday?

Personally, the modern holiday is so far away from Christianity it is good Friday because the following Sunday is Easter day and also because it signifies at least a four day break from work! :)

Maybe we should call it "Start of Easter long weekend" Friday?

biggest pet peeve is when something goes wrong i.e car crash or a fight & everyone just watches & does nothing.

The bystander effect--related but much worse than the rubber neck effect.

Peeves: when people in the subway don't give way, i.e.: are sitting with spread legs so I can't sit.

Another one: I hate speaking to people who wear sunglasses, so I can't see the experession in their eyes.

a wonderful professor of mine said, once:

"you usually hate things in other people that you hate in yourself".

and with that being said, my pet peeves are inattentive drivers; having to repeat myself; and loud drunks.

pet peeves really should make us better people, dont you think?  ...dont like it?  make sure you dont do it :)

Love this one :)

What about those who do not have pet peeves? Perhaps they believe themselves to be infallible?

...oh they have pet peeves.  even ned flanders has pet peeves.

50 points if someone can name them :P

Well, although he doesn't like Maude underlining passages in the bible, he reveals some of his most repressed peeves in the following clip:
