I agree with Nietzsche when he said:

"I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct for revenge for which no expedient is sufficiently poisonous, secret, subterranean, petty — I call it the one immortal blemish of mankind"

and one of my own

"Science is the never ending search for answers to mans oldest questions, religion is the assumption of already having the answers.

I mixed up a Linus Trovalds quote about Linux & MS to come up with one for Science & Religion.

It is not the intention of science to disprove religion, it is just an unintended side-effect.

There is one quote that was instrumental in my deconversion. It is a very simple one, but one that has stuck with me ever since. I got it out of a historical fiction novel, no less.

"Is a belief true, simply because you have always held it?"

Donna Gillespie The Light Bearer

Ive always favored Epicurus.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Not necessarily anti-religion, but I love this one for its comedic value:

"I still say a church steeple with a lightning rod on top shows a lack of confidence."  Doug McLeod

Probably anything George Carlin said is fantastic.

And I was just reminded of this Thomas Jefferson quote:

"Religions are all alike - founded upon fables and mythologies."

Being raised as a Moron, this struck me like a sledgehammer.

"It is falsehood only, and not truth, that shrinks from the light of investigation."

The leaders know that it's all bullshit. That's why they're so secretive about their history.

Does anyone know who the author is?

"One man’s theology is another man’s belly laugh."

Robert Heinlein (the notebooks of Lazarus Long from 'Time Enough for Love)

Though Heinlein has many atheistic quotes, this one I think is the most succinct. I credit my Atheism in large part to reading Mr. Heinlein as a youth. He inoculated me against the germ, so even though I went to Catholic School for my formative years, my mind "...was a rocky place where...[its] seed could find no purchase"

God is a concept by which we measure our pain

"I'd love to have faith, but I have thoughts, and thoughts can really fuck up the faith thing." - Lewis Black
