"Men" is too broad a definition to even think about. Anything one man wants, another does not... also works the other way around.

True equality between all people would be a good start (plenty of people don't want that, though). Other than that, what anyone really wants is a matter for the psychologists and psychiatrists of the world, I'm afraid. Look at Maslows heirarcy (or pyramid) of needs.

Why equality?

I find equity to be a much more laudable goal as people are too different to be treated the same.

Men want zombies. That's all. We want a post-apocalyptic world crawling with zombies.

Men want to enjoy the products of evolution within us which cause us to seek the thrilling, the creepy, the ghastly, the gross, and the violent-without-consequence. Hollywood, sweet Hollywood, readily provides what reality cannot, through the use of cameras, make-up, ketchup blood, animation, and make-believe. This is the sort of thing men are looking forward to when we're paying the bills, taking out the trash, hauling armloads of groceries into the house, and watching movies like Pride and Prejudice (the six-hour BBC version) with the women we love.
