I was looking at some info on the up and coming atheist convention in Atlanta, GA( http://atheists.org/events/National_Convention ) and was pleased when i saw the guest list and was more pleased when i was Nate Phelps Name on the list. then after i saw his name i did some research and found this. http://richarddawkins.net/article,3299,n,n

I must say its quite amazing that someone broke free of that church. its just so sad that he had to live in that family.

Good for him! I watched a documentary on the Phelps's, probably saw it on T/A ;-) When someone leaves their crazy cult, they basically treat them like they don't exist anymore.

His story on Dawkins' site is really sad. "[He] still lives with anxiety caused by his experiences over 40 years ago."
