And here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the NON-shocker of the century - the now famous "Blue Dog" democrats who have been standing in for the gimped republican party and doing everything in their power to slow, block, and ultimately cripple health care reform receive on average about 25% more money (which comes out to around $63,000) from the health care and insurance lobby.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/30/AR2...

They are currently on a record fundraising pace, collecting more than $1.1 million through June. More than half of that has come from the health care industry. The top mouthpiece of the Blue Dogs, Arkansas rep Mike Ross has received over $1 million in campaign contributions from the health care sector over the course of his 5 terms in congress.

Of course, I'm sure this is all just a huge coincidence and has NOTHING to do with the Blue Dogs fighting tooth and nail to cripple and/or crush health care reform....
