Upcoming Release: Twitter intergration and WYSIWYG comes to the Forum

On Tuesday afternoon, we're adding the ability to let Twitter know when you add new content to Think Atheist.

You can already use Twitter to highlight content that's been posted. Next week, we're adding the ability to use Twitter to announce when you've added new content. On the pages where you add blog posts, forum discussions, groups, photos, videos and events, you'll now see a check box to share your content on Twitter. Once you add your discussion, event, blog post, etc, a tweet will also be posted that links to your new content. In addition you will be able to update your status from the status option on your profile page.

If you don't want to do this, simply don't check the box. Think Atheist will remember your preference the next time you upload content, so the box will either stay checked, or un-checked, depending on your last action. You won't see this box unless you have previously connected to Twitter from Think Atheist.

Finally, we're adding a WYSIWYG editor to the Forum feature, which will make it easier to format your discussions. This addition will make it easier to add images, hyperlinks, and rich text to help your discussions started!

As always, we look forward to your feedback about these features.

(P.S.) If you find bugs come Wednesday please let me know so we can take care of them asap! You guys make the community what it is today! Thanks everyone!

Are you asking "where" Think Atheist should go? Definitely Sports. Of course.

Seriously... probably networking.

the exchange of information or services among individuals, groups, or institutions; specifically : the cultivation of productive relationships for employment or business

The point of this site is mainly to exchange information about religion and atheism and all that stuff, isn't it? We're not a "Cause" nor "education" because we're not trying to convert people to atheism or deconvert them - well not all of us lol - nor teach people anything unless those people want to learn and even so we usually hope/assume people know a lot of the stuff already. We merely like to add opinions and unique perspectives and stuff, right?

That's my two cents though. I mean this site IS a form of entertainment for me so we could just put it there for fun LOL.
Awesome! Good luck!
