Doctrine = A belief or set of beliefs held and taught by a church, political party, or other group
I noticed doctrine is not applied only to religion. It is applied to any other group that has a set of beliefs.
I think anti-theists aren't really against religion, but against the irrational doctrine that it is based on.
I wonder. If totalitarianism would be a current issue, would you guys focus more on abolishing it than on abolishing religion? ( totalitarianism = a form of government in which the power of a state is held by an individual or a group )
If communism, nazism, fascism or any variations of a broken system would be in effect ( and let's presume that you where in another state that is democratic -> you need free speech to have the right to badmouth a system ) and in neighboring states ( you being the only democratic state ) would you forget religion and focus on trying to do something about the politics?
Brainstorm is imminent.
