Going to have to tell my father soon that I'm a atheist.
Do not want to hurt his feelings.  Also not looking forward to the questions, explanations and debate on the how, why and when.

I like this approach but I've used it too many times to tell my parents when I've done something bad so it would only make them suspicious.

Belief in or lack of belief in a supernatural being should not be a consideration in the relationship between two human beings who care about one another. It's called unconditional love. 

That is my point. Like it.
