No it's way more real than "Christianification" because Islam appeals to the youth and to poor youth who are multiplying far faster than traditional Christian demographics.

The lazy charge that "Islam appeals to poor youth" comes from some empirical study you have at your finger tips? I have known many Moslems and few of them were poor either as youths or as adults. The 9-11 hijackers were very well educated. The bankers son that attempted the Christmas Day ass bomb was not poor. People that don't agree with me are not stupid, poor and hopeless - they just don't agree with me.

I also think that this is imagined. Christianity has always targeted the poor and less educated. Children are also targeted. I agree that it's no less real than the threat of Christianification.

Yes, but if you look at the current sales pitches Christianity goes "Well you won't die if you're really nice." whilst Islam says "You may die but fuck it, not without a fight because we're fucking right." What do you think appeals more to youth who are pissed off about the state of the world, like any youth in anywhere near their right mind should be no matter when or where they grow up.

I have to say that in their current states, I fear Islam far more than Christianity...again, in their current states. Regardless as to how it go into it's current condition; Islam is presently a religion known for violent extremism (view www.thereligionofpeace.com); hatred/fear of women; extreme homophobia (illegal in most predominately Islamic nations often punishable by death); and a general rejection of any science that contradicts the Koran. True, each of these are true of some modern day Christians (and virtually all christians in centuries past), but nowhere to the same extreme.
