Thanks for all the great poster ideas.

We counter-protested with the Westboro Baptist Church folks here in Kansas City tonight.

I was horrible about taking pictures. Ugh.

Some of our signs read:

Which God?

God Hates Haters

Fred Phelps is Gay for God

Me thinks thou doest protest too much

God Hates Shrimp

Thanks for the support and encouragement.

The police said they prefer that people don't oppose them. (They don't want trouble and also Inferring that the WBC folks look crazy enough all by themselves.) However, I think it is an ideal opportunity to point out that it's not just the Phelps family that are delusional. Religion itself breeds ignorance, hostility, and fanatics. Always have. Always will.
