8) What one piece of technology could you not live without? - Computers of any description. What the fuck did I do before the internetwebs?

10) What is your hidden, guilty pleasure? - My love for arguing with theists... No-one 'really' knows I do it as much as I do.

1) What motto do you live by and why?

In one sentence: "Don't subordinate your life to fear." I fail at this on a regular basis . . . but it's still my ambition to live fearlessly.

2) What's your favorite dessert?

Homemade peach cobbler ala mode.

3) What song could you listen to again and again?

So many! Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou"; The Beatles' "Because"; Van Morrison's "Brown-eyed Girl"; Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog".

4) Who is your biggest inspiration?

That would have to be Nelson Mandela: the greatest man in my lifetime.

5) What one place on earth do you want to visit the most?

Hmmmm . . . so many choices! Art, culture and history abound in Europe, China and the Mid East but I'd have to opt for the Hawaiian island I have yet to visit: Maui. I've been to Oahu, the Big Island of Hawaii and to Kauai. There's nothing more sensuous and romantic than a midnight stroll down a beach in paradise with the one you love. I've been to many places, but the only perfect place, so far, is Hawaii.

6) What book and author has influenced your opinion on religion the most?

The Old Testament: author, God. This is THE most effective book for atheism ever conceived.

7) When was the first time you ever referred to yourself as an atheist?

After much denial, in 2005.

8) What one piece of technology could you not live without?

The Internet!! Of course.

9) Quick! There is a zombie outbreak! What do you arm yourself with?

Holy water, a cross, and a Bible. Hey . . . whatever works! Okay, okay . . . give me a sword too.

10) What is your hidden, guilty pleasure?

Fantasizing about Misty: Mo's Pitbull! Yummy :-)
