Stung by blue laws. Another reason I hate religion.

I just wanted to buy a four pack of Blue Hawaiian from Wal-Mart.  Not exactly the pinnacle of high alcohol content.  However it couldn't be rung up at the cash register, even though it was technically past midnight on Monday morning.  I never felt so insulted and I felt like I was being forced to conform to somebody else's ambiguous moral standards.  Oh well.  I'll just buy it later tonight.

Its the same shit in Georgia.
The stores here won't even sell non-alcohol beer during the "blue" times!
I feel ya. I work midnights, and my buddy and I like to have an occasional beer after work. Can't buy until noon on Sundays, because of somebody else's beliefs. I'm already going to hell for working on Sunday, why can't I at least have a beer while I'm still here?
