I know that the Baltimore T|A meetup is now a regular event. I also understand that the main reason it happens in Baltimore is that is where Morgan and others are near. However I think that our membership has reached enough "critical mass" that we could have regional T|A meetups all over the place.

Now, maybe we don't meet monthly like the "mothership" in Baltimore; but we could meet up, say, quarterly and have some fun and fellowship. I think we could also discuss stuff that comes up in the monthly Baltimore meetings - stuff that seems to rise to the top of the discussion agenda.

I think we could even have a "virtual" meeting between the regional meetings and the Baltimore meeting. This is pretty trivial to do with technologies like Skype, and it would be neat to have an almost "real life" meeting of our membership.

What do y'all think? Has this already been tried before, and I'm just late to the party? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
